Who we are
New Life tries to be a church that is about real people, living real lives, that serve a real God. Excited about what God has done in our lives, we desire to be a place where people feel comfortable to come as they are and also encounter the presence of God that doesn't leave them the same.
How we got started
New Life Church opened its doors on May 1st, 1983 in the city of Biddeford, Maine under Pastor Jeff and Darilynn Tarbox. Our current Lead Pastor - Justin Sweeney - was installed in 2017. New Life has long been a church with a distinguished commitment to preaching the Word of God, vibrant worship, and reaching the world.
The focus of New Life has always been missional; from reaching the people of our city, to the farthest unreached peoples on the earth. The church has grown from its beginning in a storefront at Five Points Shopping Center to our current campus at 551 Alfred Road. Our current facility has undergone two expansions, the most recent in 2008.
New Life continues to be a church family who loves God and changes our world.

Our worship services are very contemporary. When you walk into New Life Church you will be greeted by one of our amazing hosts. We are excited to meet you, learn your name and hear your story! Our services begin with passionate live worship, followed by an inspiring message filled with Biblical truth and hope. Each service runs just over an hour. We can’t wait to see you this weekend!
